Passionate, Multi-talented web designer
If you have a genuine love for creating web interfaces that look wonderful, are loved by the people that use them, and win praise from your peers then we're interested to talk to you. DistinctMEDIA are an online marketing company working on a range of internal projects for global partners like Yahoo, shopping.com and Pricerunner. We create web sites that attract very high volumes of traffic, and we earn our living based on the success of these sites. Due to expansion in all areas of our business we need a senior designer who can take overall responsibility for web and interface design. You need to have a strong portfolio of consumer web sites and a real passion for creating sites that maximise user conversion. You need to be very commercially aware, dedicated to latest standards in web design, and an animal that can combine being a perfectionist with rapid delivery. You'll be a wizard with Photoshop, but you'll have skills across a range of photo and vector art software. Importantly, you'll be able to turn layouts into HTML/DHTML and CSS and may also be proficient in Flash. A real bonus will be experience in taking an idea and turning into wireframe layouts that can be discussed with colleagues in all corners of the world.
